Meet Kurt Zerbin, Canada’s newest and hottest Country talent. Kurt
hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, a town that’s beginning to be known
for country music. The release of
Kurt’s first album, “It’s Time”, is yet another
testament to this.
Kurt comes from a long line of musicians and his love for
traditional country
music began at an early age.
Kurt started playing the guitar at the age of 8 and wrote his first
song at the age of 12. His musical influences include Merle Haggard,
Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs and Brad Paisley to name a
few, and you can tell when you listen to or watch Kurt that he’s a
little bit of everyone rolled into one with a few of his own
surprises on the side.
Kurt
lives and breathes music, when he isn’t competing in talent searches or
busking at the Forks Market, Kurt plays in the band “In Tune”. In order
to do this he travels two hours every weekend to practices and gigs in
Southeastern Manitoba. He is also a part of Skylite Entertainment, a
Manitoba karaoke company, and he is one third of the gospel trio “Sunday
Morning Revival”.
His long awaited CD “It’s
Time” is full of great original songs that will either have your
toes tapping, or wanting to cuddle close to your loved one. Each song
has a story to it, written from real events in Kurt’s life.
